          Position Responsibilities:

          GeoEngineers is seeking a talented Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide expert technical consultation and lead business development efforts for our Portland, OR location. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader and collaborate with high profile clients on innovative transportation, energy, water & natural resources and development projects, while helping to expand our geotechnical practice and further develop our strong client base. Responsibilities include project management and project technical leadership; oversight and preparation of proposals and scopes, technical reports, engineering designs and construction documents; and development and mentoring of technical staff in field, analytical and project management skills. A key responsibility will be to successfully manage clients and projects as well as participating in project pursuits and the development of new clients and markets.

          Position Requirements:

          As an ideal candidate, you will possess a degree in Geotechnical Engineering (BS required, MS strongly preferred) and 10+ years related professional geotechnical experience, including four years of experience with project management. Local area experience and knowledge are highly desired. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with the local A/E community and will have local client contacts as well as demonstrated strengths in business development, public speaking and presentations, budgeting and proposal writing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must! Oregon PE registration required.
