          Kforce Principal SW Development Engineer in Portland Oregon United States

          Our client is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer in Portland, Oregon (OR) with Windows kernel/ device driver experience to design, develop and extend our storage solutions on Windows Server Platforms. You will work with an experienced and highly technical team, while designing and developing features for the Windows platform.

          Responsibilities:
          * Design and develop key features for our Windows based storage products, create high quality code with excellent performance characteristics
          * Develop, support and provide initial trouble shooting for internal and field issues while being the go to person for resolving driver and kernel issues
          * Requires strong coding, implementation, and design skills
          * Expert knowledge and hands on experience with Windows kernel/device driver development
