          Multiple Openings Available REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of 5 years requisite industry experience OR * Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 1 year of industry experience * Thorough knowledge of ERISA regulations and experience with State Plans * Previous experience working large case insured and / or self insured clients * Knowledge of Federal and State Leave Laws * Experience with Leave of Absence administration process, documentation and compliance * Skills to proactively manage the medical aspects of a claim from onset to return to work utilizing industry standard tools and strategies * Self Starter with above average communication and critical thinking skills * Skills to work in a fast paced, changing environment * Well organized and detail oriented * Above average customer service skills * Strong decision making skills * Skills to handle confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion * Excellent math, verbal and business writing skills, good reading comprehension * Skills to organize work, manage time and follow through * 'Can do' attitude and helpfulness skills * Willingness to learn * Team oriented * Skills to lead by example PREFERRED: * Minimum 3 years of Disability and / or Leave of Absence Claims Administration experience * Knowledge of medical terminology JOB DUTIES: * Work alongside a team of Claims Examiners, as they investigate, evaluate and determine benefit eligibility of Disability Claims and Leave of Abence in a timely fashion * Ensure compliance with policy, provisions, state and federal regulations * Work with a team that will exercise expense management through investigation, appropriate follow up, case management and claim settlements LOCATION: Portland 97223
