          Intel Custom Foundry Group is Intel's exciting new venture into collaborating with Industry hardware leaders and bringing their products onto Intel's leading edge process technology. The ASIC Design & Integration team within Intel Custom Foundry is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of this experience of building the Industry's next generation products. As part of this fast growing design team, you will be working on leading edge System-on-Chip (SOC) designs from external customers. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to.


          • Interface heavily with external customers to understand product requirements and technical challenges.


          • Evaluate critical silicon technologies to meet customer product requirements.


          • Demonstrate value proposition of Intel's leading edge process to external customers through critical design studies and methodology evaluation.


          • Design and deliver large complex ASIC designs including logic design at the RTL level, logic synthesis, auto-place and route, extraction, timing & reliability convergence, layout verification of tape-out databases.


          • Define, develop and deliver efficient design methodology on industry standard design automation tools.-


          • Providing technical guidance to junior design engineer and mentoring them.

          Qualifications:
          You must possess a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and at least 5 years of related industry experience.

          Additional qualifications include:


          • Demonstrate experience in digital design principles and understanding of techniques in at least 3 of the following areas: Digital Logic, VLSI CMOS circuits, VLSI layout, computer architecture, computer aided design tools.


          • Demonstrate experience with standard-cell based VLSI design methodology and relevant Synopsys EDA tools (DC, ICC, PrimeTime).


          • Demonstrate experience in scripting with Unix shell, Perl and/or Tcl.


          Preferred Skills:


          • Demonstrate experience with System Verilog
