          Intel Senior Embedded Firmware Developer in Hillsboro Oregon United States

          Title: Senior Embedded Firmware Developer
          Location: USA-Oregon, Hillsboro
          Job Number: 705941

          Define and develop architecture, microarchitecture, embedded firmware and/or microcode features for Intel's next generation SoC's and Microprocessors. Individual will work with Architecture, Design, and Validation teams to develop innovative new solutions to manage and improve power and performance of Intel products. Behavioral traits for this position include: excellent communication capabilities and teamwork.

          Responsibilities may include:
          - Analyze power and performance of existing microarchitecture, microcode and embedded firmware
          - Improve existing microarchitecture embedded firmware and microcode algorithms
          - Plan, write, and debug new code to meet management, functionality and performance requirements
          - Develop, model, and implement brand new microarchitecture features
          - Project leadership and management

          Qualifications:

          Minimum qualifications
          :


          • BS 6 yrs. exp.; MS 4 yrs. exp.; PhD 2 yrs. exp. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

          • Minimum 5 years experience with computer architecture

          • Minimum 5 years experience with C coding skills

          • Minimum 5 years experience with assembly language programming (IA, 8051 etc.)

          • Minimum 5 years experience with software and software debugging
